INVERKAN – handmade by IKEA + Social Entrepreneur Doi Tung Development Project

The Doi Tung Development Project is a social enterprise located in northern Thailand. Founded in 1988, the Doi Tung social mission is to revive natural forests devastated by the production of opium and to improve healthcare and education for the people of the region. The Doi Tung Development Project has been an IKEA partner since 2007. INVERKAN is the third collection co-created with artisans from Doi Tung.Money from the sale of INVERKAN goes towards IKEA partnerships with social entrepreneurs around the world to support economic, environmental and social development.
