1966 KONE (1st mod. 2006 KONE) (2nd mod. 2017 KONE) tr. elevator @ Aleksanterinkatu 13, Helsinki, FI

Filmed on 7.4.2025. This elevator is located at Aleksanterinkatu 13 office building. 2nd floor has Bouchon Carême restaurant. 6th floor has Sauna and Torni lounges. This elevator was originally made in 1966, first modernized in 2006 and later again modernized in 2017 by KONE. Buttons were modernized twice. Interior was modernized three times in both modernizations and once even later in 2024. Inner doors and cab indicator were installed in the first modernization. Completely automatic glass doors and outside indicators were installed in the second modernization. Rectangular windows was added on rear wall in the cab in the second modernization. Also TV display screen was installed in the cab during the third interior modernization but it wasn’t working when I visited there. The shaft cage has remained original. This building had Aleksi 13 Helsinki department store between 1967 and 2021. The first modernized elevator was filmed by Elevators from Finland and Elevators from Sweden!.
