This custom LM Cases Drum Tech Touring Workbox was designed as a complete mobile workstation for professional drum maintenance, repair and touring support. The case features captive fold-flat front doors, a gas-spring-supported top lid, a split Lexan and cross-linked foam work surface, two pull-out shelves, locking drawers, dedicated soldering and parts-storage areas, monitor storage, drumstick storage and rear service access. Power is integrated throughout the workbox using LM Tour Systems components and Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 connections for compatibility with touring applications in the U.S. and abroad. The rear doghouse also includes mounting provisions for customer-installed electronics, speakers, monitors and a Triad-Orbit IO-WSP mounting system for monitor and camera hardware. One of the more unique details on this build is the solid walnut drawer construction, combined with heavy-duty locking slides that keep drawers and work surfaces secure while the case is being moved or used on uneven surfaces.
