DIY CHESS BOARD

This is an easy weekend project. I used 3 different types of wood for the chessboard; maple, mahogany and oak. The board is 2 inch by 2 inch, and the top is layered with Super Glaze, which actually left a very nice finish on the top! Everything is made with some clamps, wood glue and a couple common power tools you would find in your garage. It's a fun build and a fun game that the wife ended up kicking my ass on every time...
