Astor Piazzolla: "Milonga del ángel" in B minor for piano (with score)

Performed by Christian Dillig (piano) This melancholic tango called "Milonga del Ángel" is the second of four tangos from the Angel series that Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992) composed in 1962 in connection with a play. I also recorded the tango "La muerte del ángel" - another piece of the serie - and wrote a short introduction to the cycle there.    • Astor Piazzolla: Tango "La muerte del ánge...   I adapted the partly different rhythms in the piece to the performance convention.
