What if the reason you're exhausted isn't because you're doing too much—but because you're trying too hard to be accepted by everyone? There comes a point in your walk with God when you have to decide whose approval matters most. People may misunderstand you. People may disagree with you. People may question your decisions. Some people may even become uncomfortable when you begin changing. But you cannot build your identity around keeping everybody happy. 📖 Scripture Focus: Galatians 1:10 The deeper lesson behind “Let Them” is not bitterness, isolation, or pretending that people don't matter. It's freedom from allowing people's opinions to become the foundation of your identity. If you constantly need approval, rejection will control you. If you constantly need validation, criticism will control you. If everybody has to understand your decisions, misunderstanding will control you. And if everybody has to like the person you're becoming, you may eventually become afraid to grow. There are moments when following Christ requires the courage to say: Let them misunderstand. Let them have their opinion. Let them disagree. Let them walk away if they choose. You can still love people without allowing their approval to determine your worth. You can listen to wise counsel without becoming controlled by everybody's opinion. You can remain humble without becoming addicted to validation. And you can follow God's direction without explaining every chapter of your journey to everyone around you. Your identity was never meant to be built on applause. Your peace was never meant to depend on popularity. And your purpose should not be abandoned simply because somebody doesn't understand it. Stop asking everybody for permission to become the person God is calling you to become. Seek God first. Stay grounded in Scripture. Remain teachable. Love people. But don't allow people-pleasing to become your master. Sometimes spiritual maturity means realizing: You don't have to change their mind. Sometimes you simply have to... LET THEM.
