Come learn how horses communicate and understand horse body language with Nana! 🐴 In this calm, low stimulation educational animal video for toddlers and preschoolers, little learners discover fun horse facts for kids while learning how horses use their ears, eyes, tails, movements, and body language to show how they are feeling.
Spend time with Stanley, Teddy, Poppy, Banks, Molly, Henry, Bernard, and more while learning about horse behavior, animal communication, and caring for horses. Nana shows children how to recognize when a horse is calm, curious, happy, nervous, or annoyed, and explains why calm voices, gentle movements, patience, and kindness can help horses feel safe and comfortable.
This gentle horse learning video for kids helps toddlers and preschoolers understand that animals do not need words to communicate. Horses can tell us a lot by moving away, coming closer, changing the position of their ears, resting their head on us, or simply enjoying quiet time together.

Welcome to Nana’s Place! 🐴🐶🐦💛
Nana is a real-life grandma with a love for animals, and Nana’s Place is a calm, relaxing, educational children’s show where toddlers and preschoolers can learn about animals big and small alongside her.
From horses and dogs to birds, farm animals, and the little creatures we find in our own backyards, Nana introduces young viewers to the animals around us. Together, we’ll learn what animals eat, how they communicate, how we safely interact with and care for them, and all the little things that make each animal special.
Nana created the channel after looking for the kind of calm, relaxing, low-stimulation children’s programming her own kids grew up watching — shows like Franklin and Curious George that encouraged curiosity, learning, and imagination without feeling loud or overwhelming. When she had trouble finding enough of that kind of programming for a new generation, Nana’s Place was born.
At Nana’s Place, we believe learning can be calm, relaxing, and fun. Our animal adventures give little learners time to watch, listen, discover, and experience the world around them alongside Nana.
Whether we’re spending time with horses, meeting a new dog, watching birds, caring for animals, or discovering a new creature outside, Nana’s Place encourages curiosity, kindness, compassion, and a love and respect for animals and nature.
Come meet the animals, learn something new, and explore with Nana! 🐾💛
