Red Dirt on My Wedding Ring — When FIFO Follows You Home

Some of the red dirt comes home with you. “Red Dirt on My Wedding Ring” is about a FIFO worker realising that the job hasn't only got into his boots, clothes and skin. It's got into his marriage too. Airport goodbyes. Different rosters. Quiet dinners. Coming home tired. Leaving again too soon. And underneath all that red dirt, a wedding ring they're still trying to protect. Australian blue-collar country and pub rock from RED DIRT SHIFT. Songs for the people who work away from home. #FIFOAustralia #AustralianCountry #RedDirtShift
