2027 Goalkeeper Tarl Spangler - Highlights

I'm TJ, a student-athlete in the Class of 2027 at Urbana High School in Maryland. I’m a starting goalkeeper for the UHS boys varsity soccer team and captain of my FC Frederick 2008/2009 National League (N1) club team. Last year, I earned all-conference second team and all-county honorable mention. I’ve played for the MD State ODP Team and was selected for the East Region ID Pool. I try hard to be a positive presence and leader for my team. My strengths are shot stopping and diving, 1v1s, distribution with hands and feet, communication and organization of the back line. My goal is to attend a 4 year college after high school and continue to play soccer. I'm interested in studying biology or zoology and working with animals. I am in honors, AP, and dual enrollment level classes, NHS, and my current GPA is 4.3 weighted / 3.8 unweighted. In addition to playing soccer, I'm working towards becoming an Eagle Scout, and also work part time as a USSF certified referee and summer camp counselor.
