Ritual Beast's are said to be the hardest to learn deck in Duel Links, and they're a year old. So I thought it would be a fun little mini-series to learn how to use the deck from scratch.
Ritual Beast Noob to Master Episode 1
Going into this deck profile, you'll need to know the basics of the game of course. So it's not like I'm going over this deck like I'm talking to a brand new player, but more of someone who's skilled at the game but unfamiliar with this deck.
Main Deck:
3x Spiritual Beast Tamer Winda
2x Sphere Kuriboh
3x Spiritual Beast Cannahawk
2x Spiritual Beast Pettlephin
2x Ritual Beast Tamer Elder
1x Spiritual Beast Apelio
1x Ritual Beast Tamer Lara
1x Ritual Beast Return
1x Ritual Beast's Bond
2x Needle Ceiling
1x Floodgate Trap Hole
1x Ritual Beast Ambush
Extra Deck:
3x Ritual Beast Ulti-Apelio
2x Ritual Beast Ulti-Cannahawk
1x Ritual Beast Ulti-Pettlephin
1x Kachi Kochi Dragon
Skills:
Destiny Draw
See You Later!
(or whatever you want, I mention Beatdown in the video but the above are the best two options at this point in the game)
Matchups:
Evil Eye, Gaia, Yubel/Fire King, Hazy Flame/Fire King, Chain Reaction (LOL), Dark Magician, Lunalight, and an unknown deck.
Main Combo Step-by-step:
1. Summon Elder - Elder Effect to Summon Cannahawk.
2. Cannahawk Effect to banish Winda.
3. SS** into Ulti-Cannahawk.
4. Ulti-C's effect - Choose Hawk and Elder.
5. Chain Ulti-C's second effect - Choose Hawk and Winda
6. Elder goes to grave, you can search any RB*** card
7. Hawk and Winda are SS'd
8. Hawk Effect - send whichever you see fit
9. SS into Ulti-Apelio or Ulti-Pettlephin
Step 1 can be replaced by almost any set-up:
-You can summon Lara to SS Hawk from grave.
-You can use any RB with any Tamer if you don't have Hawk or Elder but have another RB banished. (Like Elder and Winda, or two Windas, etc etc)
**(SS = Special Summon)
***(RB = Ritual Beast)
Also, Winda is a one card combo. Set her for a turn 1 pass and if she's destroyed by card effect or battle, you can SS any RB from the deck or extra-deck you want. Sure, she goes to the grave, but you can use Apelio or Lara to get her back into the banish pile or field.
