Day 4 of our Bangalore to Ladakh road trip was supposed to take us from Chandigarh to Keylong — until multiple landslides on the Mandi–Manali route brought our journey to a halt. But the mountains had other plans. 🏔️ What started as an exciting drive towards the Himalayas quickly turned into a challenging day as we encountered multiple landslides on the Mandi–Manali route, long traffic jams and hours of waiting. With the road blocked and daylight disappearing, our plan to reach Keylong was suddenly in doubt. After waiting for hours and finally getting the road moving again, we had to make a difficult decision and change our itinerary. This episode captures the real and unpredictable side of a Himalayan road trip — landslides, blocked roads, long waits, uncertainty and travelling through the mountains with our dog. But the biggest question remains… Did we actually make it to Keylong? And where did we finally end up?
