It features several of the world's highest peaks—including K2—massive glaciers, deep green valleys, and the historic Karakoram Highway, serving as a major hub for global mountaineering and adventure tourism. Chitral is a scenic mountain town and district in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, set along the Chitral River under the shadow of the Hindu Kush range.
