Petronella, Reel de Montreal, and St Antione, from Springtide's house concert on 10/7/26

The final medley of Springtide's 10/7/26 house concert. Springtide is Willy Clemetson, Elsie Gawler and Ethan Tischler. We’re catching these rising stars in the Maine trad music scene on their way to the Bellingham Celtic Festival. Expect a mix of New England, Irish, Scottish, and Scandinavian musical influences in a rich, improvisational mix of traditional and original tunes and songs. I love the energy and sweetness of their sound, and how even their original tunes sound like trad music from ages ago. They’re well steeped in their home musical landscapes. Willy Clemetson, fiddler and singer, comes from Belfast, the epicenter of Maine fiddle and trad music, and is involved in numerous musical projects and groups. Elsie Gawler on cello has been playing in her family band since childhood and, in addition to Springtide and other projects, has been a long-time member of Childsplay. Ethan Tischler, guitar, originally comes from Vermont’s Champlain Valley and is a music educator and sound engineer. Here's their video page: https://www.springtidetrio.com/watch
