Cous Cous Noss Noss

Morocco... in a minute and a half. I’d wanted to visit Morocco ever since seeing U2’s Mysterious Ways video, filmed in Fez. In about a week, we crossed mountains, desert, cities and countryside—and encountered more musical traditions than I could possibly take in. The food was wonderful, the hammam was an education, and the desert sunset was something else. I came away with a few new rhythms, a head full of impressions, and a tune called Cous Cous Noss Noss.
