ASSAM RIFLES SAMMAN SAMAROH FOR RETIREES (APRIL 2026)

Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General Assam Rifles, felicitated 01 Officer, 62 JCOs, 81 Other Ranks and 03 Civil Staff members during a dignified Samman Samaroh held at Headquarters DGAR, Laitkor, Shillong on 30 April 2026. The ceremony was attended by 78 family members from across the country, adding warmth and a personal touch to the occasion. A total of 147 personnel retired on 30 April 2026 after rendering selfless and dedicated service to the nation. The event concluded with an interaction over Veterans Day lunch, where attendees shared cherished memories, reflecting the deep camaraderie, pride and esprit de corps that define the Assam Rifles family.
