Bremen Old Town Walking Tour

This Bremen Walking Tour 2024 takes you to The Old Town quarter "Schnoor" - lovingly restored small, colourful houses and shops along alleys so narrow that you can touch both sides with outstretched arms. Next stop the beautiful Böttcherstraße in the heart of Bremen city. Built in the early 20th century the street impresses with its unique symbiosis of traditional and expressionist brick architecture. Last stop: Bremen Townhall and Statue of Roland: 1404, the stone Roland was erected in front of Bremen's town hall. From the very beginning, it was a symbolic figure for the city's "freedoms" and rights. Since 2004, Bremens impressive Town hall and the Bremen Roland has shared a place on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
