Located on the southwestern corner of Washington County, Rhode Island, Westerly was first settled by English colonists in 1661 and incorporated as a municipality in 1669. Home of "soupy," soppressata,' an Italian all-pork dry salami and one time home to the Guild Guitar Company. Not to mention the granite, textile, and maritime industries and beautiful beaches.
