Welcome back to the Lab. After studying cloud architecture, Python AI agents, and human psychology, I am shifting gears to focus on execution. In this session, I break down my concept takeaways from the Google Project Management Professional Certificate.
You can have the best coding skills in the world, but if you don't know how to manage constraints, break down tasks, or communicate with stakeholders, the project will fail. This video documents the frameworks I am adopting to build LingoMate v2 and manage my university sprints.
Core Concepts Covered in This Session:
1-4: The Blueprint: Defining the destination (Scope, SMART goals), understanding stakeholders, and breaking the mountain down using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
5-7: Constraints & Quality: The "Triple Constraint" of Time, Cost, and Scope, managing risks before they become issues, and defining actual quality.
8-10: Agile & Scrum: Why you shouldn't follow a methodology blindly, how Agile focuses on continuous learning, and the three key Scrum accountabilities (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers).
11-14: Leadership & Closure: Why communication is the actual work, leading through trust, making data-driven decisions, and closing projects properly to capture knowledge.
The Core Takeaway (The 7 Questions): Why? Who? What? How? Are we on track? What needs to change? Did we succeed?
