Home Was You . A Song For Mom. Official Music Video

Home Was You is for my mother — and for everyone who discovered after losing their mother that home was never really a house. Life continues. Children grow up. Brothers and sisters build their own lives. Families become busy, distance grows, and the gatherings that once seemed ordinary become memories. Sometimes it takes losing the person who brought everyone together to understand what she really was. She was the phone call. She was the table. She was the reason we came home. She was the quiet thread holding everyone together. This song is for my mother — and for every person who understands these words: “Home was never just a place. Mom… home was you.” If your mother is still with you, call her. If she is no longer here, I hope this song brings back one beautiful memory.
