She Gave Her Coat to a Shivering Old Man at the Station — He Owned the Train She Was Waiting For

Denver, Colorado, 1879. Ada Turner is a young widow who has lost her farm, her husband and almost everything she owned. With one carpet bag and four dollars left, she waits on a freezing train platform for the train that will carry her to a cook's job in the silver town of Leadville. Then she sees a thin old man with no coat, shaking in the bitter wind. Everyone else walks past him. A rich man in a fur coat calls him a beggar. But Ada takes off her only coat and wraps it around his shoulders, and shares her last piece of bread. She has no idea who the old man really is. When the train finally arrives, the whole station is about to get the shock of a lifetime. A clean, heartwarming western love story about a simple act of kindness that changes everything.
