Muddy Roots 2025 - Day 1 -Thursday, Aug. 28

Ah, 2025. What a sublime time. My friend Gwennan and I had returned from our trip to the UK where we'd attended the Muddy Roots-affiliated festival, Rustic Stomp in Dorset back in July. She was a full-fledged KTTK Patreon member so was able to book a golf cart. GAME CHANGER! It was a huge assist to our over-the-hill feet, knees, and hips. First day of the festival mostly consisted of setting up our camp. But I was able to capture 3 acts: Family Dog (Nashville), Pentagram String Band (Kansas City), and Tropa Magica (East L.A.). 'Twas a truly magical evening and by far my favorite party in this great land of ours!
