In this video, we react to another intense Kevin Samuels smoke show where multiple women call in live to critique him directly — including a 30-year-old caller from Atlanta named Jasmine, a woman who accuses him of only caring about certain types of women, and a final caller who tells him to shut up and "be a good boy."
One caller demands Kevin critique women who date men for money, but can't explain her own question when he pushes back. Another accuses him of putting down black women, only to backtrack when he counters with examples, all while flashing her engagement ring on camera in the middle of the argument.
The conversation quickly turns into a much bigger debate about accountability, feminism, marriage and divorce rates in the black community, and who's really responsible for where things stand between black men and women today.
Kevin also questions whether any of these callers actually came with a real criticism at all, or whether they simply dislike what he says without being able to argue against it — and by the end, he lays out exactly what he believes it takes for men to lead in their community.
In my opinion, the biggest takeaway is that criticism has to come with substance. Disagreeing with someone isn't the same as being able to explain why, and more than one caller proved that difference live on camera.
What do you think? Did any of these women land a real point, or did Kevin handle every single one of them fairly? Was he too harsh with the final caller, or did she have that response coming?
