In this video, I build a complete KST GOOT Soldering Station using an ESP32-S3, a color display, real-time temperature sensing, and an 18V Makita LXT battery. In the past, I used GOOT soldering tips in a very basic way. I only used the two heater terminals together with a quick-charge trigger board and a push button, which meant I basically had to guess the tip temperature. However, these GOOT soldering tips also have two additional K-type thermocouple terminals for temperature sensing. So I decided to take full advantage of the tip and build a proper temperature-controlled soldering station. 🌐 Free firmware + wiring diagrams + instructions: https://ai.kenhsangtao.com/goot/ 🧊 3D-printable enclosure: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3255...
