Archaeological features include rock chambers, caverns, stepped stone walls, and even inscribed carvings with medieval Sinhala letters, hinting at a rich cultural past. Govinda Hela is wrapped in dense forest, including an ebony-dominated canopy and teak trees, creating a lush, natural environment.
