What began as a contained threat has spread beyond every known boundary. The early stages brought contamination. The outbreak brought collapse. Now, something far more dangerous has emerged from the ruins. The Epidemic has reached its final phase. NeuroPlague Music presents The Epidemic, Vol. 2 — the concluding chapter of this two-part transmission, bringing together three uncompromising forces from across the Drum & Bass underground. Darker. More aggressive. More unpredictable. The pathogen is no longer spreading. It is becoming something else. INITIAL MUTATION: Titanz (UK) & Neothrope — “Rundown” ☣️ The first signs of total system failure. Titanz (UK) brings decades of combined production and DJ experience into a collision with Neothrope’s cybernetic approach to neurofunk, creating a track that feels engineered somewhere between a dying civilization and a machine refusing to shut down. “Rundown” moves with relentless pressure — brutal bass architecture, precision-built drums, and hostile textures tearing through the remaining infrastructure. Human instinct meets mechanical evolution as the boundaries between organism and machine begin to disappear. The system isn't shutting down. It's mutating. SECONDARY INFECTION: 7th Sense — “Fatalidad” ☣️ The warning comes too late. From Barcelona's underground Drum & Bass movement, 7th Sense delivers a darker strain of neurofunk charged with tension and forward momentum. “Fatalidad” carries the weight of inevitability — a sonic descent into the moment when survival stops being a possibility and becomes a matter of instinct. The pathogen moves through the bloodstream. There is nowhere left to run. Fatalidad has arrived. FINAL TRANSFORMATION: Julius Waldeck — “Atomic” ☣️ Then comes the detonation. With more than two decades of experience navigating electronic music, Julius Waldeck brings his evolving approach to Drum & Bass into the final stage of the epidemic. “Atomic” delivers the closing impact — a volatile surge of energy that feels less like an attack and more like the irreversible release of everything that has been building beneath the surface. The final barrier breaks. The organism emerges. And nothing returns to what it was. The Epidemic, Vol. 2 completes the current NeuroPlague transmission — a journey from infection to evolution, from contamination to transformation. Across its two-part arc, the series has continued the label's mission to discover forward-thinking artists, amplify uncompromising creativity, and push Drum & Bass beyond familiar boundaries. But this was never simply about destruction. Every infection adapts. Every system eventually changes. Every ending creates the conditions for something new. The Epidemic has reached its final chapter. The pathogen survives. The host is no longer human. Evolution is complete. End of transmission. -------------------------------------------- BIG THANKS to ZIONOV ND at Crow & Bass for making this amazing video with graphics!
