युद्ध के बदलते स्वरूप के मद्देनजर भारत अपनी रक्षा तैयारियों को लगातार चुस्त-दुरुस्त कर रहा है। इस सिलसिले में अंतरिक्ष कमान के गठन की तैयारियां तेजी से चल रही हैं। यह तीनों सेनाओं की संयुक्त कमान होगी जिसका नेतृत्व थल सेना करेगी। अंतरिक्ष कमान को लेकर तीनों सेनाओं में विमर्श की प्रक्रिया पूरी हो गई है। जल्द अंतरिम अंतरिक्ष कमान का ऐलान हो सकता है। बाद में आवश्यक सुधारों के साथ उसे स्थायी बनाया जाएगा। In light of the changing nature of warfare, India is continuously fine-tuning its defense preparedness.
