Knox County Summer Clash Night 1 brought two tracks of nonstop horsepower to the Knox County Fairgrounds in Mt. Vernon, Ohio! Nine scheduled classes featuring some of the region’s strongest diesel trucks, modified trucks, tractors and Pro Stock Semis battled for distance on Track Boss Red and Track Boss Green.
The Mosier Industrial Services Limited Pro Diesel Trucks delivered one of the closest finishes of the evening. Garrett Price and Full Bore powered to the victory at 336.904 feet, narrowly defeating Jacob Widman and Under Pressure at 335.896. Lee Burke placed third at 334.384, while Rob Wright and All Attitude followed only inches behind at 334.024.
In the AP1 Insurance Two Wheel Drive Trucks, Frank Keener and All Sauced Up claimed the win with a strong 338.652-foot run. Kerry Unger drove Overtime II to second at 334.158, while Bill Widenmeyer and Smokeless completed the podium at 330.410.
The Attitude Diesel Super Stock Diesel Trucks saw Dustin Beheler and Diggin Deeper live up to their name with a winning distance of 341.790 feet. Cliff Carnes and Carnage stayed close at 339.926 for second, followed by Don Gillette and Top Shelf in third.
On Track 2, Derek McIntire and Green Grenade earned the Light Limited Super Stock Tractor victory with a distance of 324.894 feet. Mike Monreal and American Made finished second at 323.988, while Jake Huffman and Blood Born placed third at 317.786.
Richard Peters and Buckeye Special put together the longest winning run of the results provided, taking the Proway Truck Repair Mini Modified Tractor class at an impressive 346.390 feet. Brice Cullen and Doctor Dirt finished second at 343.120, edging Kevin Dick and The Cat’s Sass by only .064 feet.
Jeff Hothem and Fully Loaded topped the Fennig Equipment Super Stock Tractors with a 334.724-foot effort. Bill Keener and Bambi secured second at 329.926, with Keigm Parobek and My Other Dear placing third.
The Riverside Engine Pro Stock Tractor victory belonged to Cory Hoffman and King of Deeres, who charged to 346.776 feet. John Linder and Linder Brothers finished second at 335.792, followed closely by Nick Elchinger and Dream on Deere at 334.398.
In the Cyclone Diesel Performance Pro Stock Semis, Mitch Cloud and Rubber Duck collected the win with a distance of 303.904 feet. Sondra Rodgers and Unpredictable placed second, while Kendra Dauer and Unleashed rounded out the class.
