How Does the Show Change the Movie Series’ Lore? Every Major Difference Explained

I always wondered what would the approach be like for the narrative of a show like Crystal Lake. I mean it effectively serves as a prequel to the Friday the 13th movies, which means that there is a lot of lore to be considered and be in line with. Finally, after watching the series, I am pretty impressed by the way it handles the storytelling to balance the old and the new. The basic theme around Jason and Pamela remains the same, but at the same time, Crystal Lake delivers on the perfect origin story so that the events of the movies now remain consistent. Of course, there are a few subtle changes here and there, and some established facts from the movie series have been altered, but I don’t think it hurts the narrative at all. #MovieToSeries #LoreChanges #CanonBreak #TVCanon
