Rest in God's Presence | Psalm 91 Gregorian Chants: He Is Your Refuge Tonight · 2 Hours

Rest in God's Presence | Psalm 91 Gregorian Chants: He Is Your Refuge Tonight · 2 Hours These Gregorian chants are prayed to God, your refuge and your fortress, the One who keeps watch over you through the night. 🕊️ You will hear male monastic voices singing Gregorian chant in unison, with no instruments at all, an unhurried line rising and settling in the long reverberation of stone. The chant is sung in Latin, and you need no Latin for the music to do its work, because the slow sacred chant carries its trust on its own. Let these Gregorian chants hold your night prayer, your quiet time before sleep, or the hard hours when you are grieving or longing for healing and protection. Every chant stays with the same trust: that God shelters you, and that in His presence you may rest. Like the evening office of a monastery, these Gregorian chants ask nothing of you but to listen and let your heart grow still. May this sacred chant be a gentle place for you to rest in God. Inspired by Psalm 91 (Qui Habitat). 🕯️ Night prayer and Compline 🙏 Prayer for protection and peace 🕊️ Rest and sleep ✝️ Comfort in grief and in need of healing 🕯️ Quiet meditation in God's presence Prayer: I hold Your truth as my shield, O God, in the darkness The music and the image in this video were created with the help of artificial intelligence. #gregorianchant #latinchant #sacredchant #monastery #psalm91 #prayer #peace #protection #sleep #nightprayer
