DIY Bench Power Supply from an Old PC Power Supply

This project converts an old ATX PC power supply into a versatile lab bench power source with fixed 3.3V, 5V, and 12V rails. By adding a buck-boost converter to the 12V output, it provides an adjustable 3V–35V channel for testing various electronics. A simple switch shorting PS_ON to GND turns the recycled unit into an affordable, high-current workstation.
