We can use place value and regrouping to multiply multi-digit numbers. We show a step-by-step method to multiply multi-digits. We discuss the importance of estimating a product before doing the actual multiplication so we will know if our actual answer is reasonable, and makes sense. The second partial product is always greater than the first partial product because it is a product of multiplying by tens.
