How to Solve Word Problems Using Fractions

Hi guys in today's LRC video we'll be learning how to solve word problems involving fractions. For additional practice, please answer the extra problems below: 1. Liza drank 2/7 of a jug of juice in the morning and 3/7 in the afternoon. How much of the jug did she drink in total? 2. A baker used 3/5 of a bag of flour to bake bread. If each loaf requires 1/4 of that amount, what fraction of the whole bag is used for one loaf? 3. A rope is 7/8 meters long. If it is cut into pieces each 1/16 meters long, how many pieces can be made? 4. A farmer filled 5/6 of a barn with hay. After selling some, only 2/6 remained.
