Cover: My Dark Places - Stiff Little Fingers

I was very lucky to catch Stiff Little Fingers playing in Birmingham in March before everything kicked off and even luckier to hear a live performance of ‘My Dark Places’. Jake Burns didn’t intend on recording this song but I’m very grateful, like many others, that he did. He sings about battling with his own depression and gave the vital message, on the night of the gig, for everyone, men especially, to talk about their feelings and express them to people. It’s an emotional song to sing as I definitely have a personal connection to it, but it’s so powerful and beautiful, so here’s a cover. ♥️ Stiff Little Fingers - My Dark Places
