🚨 WE HAVE MERCH! 👉 https://shoplowend.com --------------------------------------------------- ➡️ I knew Angra could get progressive, but I wasn’t prepared for everything happening in “Carolina IV.” This nearly 11-minute epic somehow finds room for power metal, Brazilian percussion, flute, piano, strings, brass, massive vocal arrangements, and some ridiculous musicianship without ever turning into a pile of disconnected ideas. Instead, themes disappear and resurface, familiar sections return in a completely different light, and all those extra layers give each part its own identity. Angra basically threw the entire kitchen sink at this thing, and somehow made every ingredient feel like it belonged. --------------------------------------------------- 0:00 Intro 1:17 Reaction / Analysis 26:51 Final Thoughts --------------------------------------------------- 📺 MORE PROG METAL REACTIONS: ▶️ DREAM THEATER:    • NEW DREAM THEATER?! "Night Terror" Reactio...   ▶️ TOOL:    • First Listen to TOOL's "Invincible" | Bass...   ▶️ KARNIVOOL:    • KARNIVOOL Have Mastered Songwriting! Bass ...   --------------------------------------------------- Mark Michell is an internationally-touring and recording bass player known for his work with Scale the Summit, Tony MacAlpine, Tetrafusion, Watermox, and more.
