Rem: The Living Dream Lost in New York | Deadlock Lore

Rem might be the cutest character in Deadlock, but his story is surprisingly mysterious. He's a little creature from the world of dreams who somehow ended up stranded in New York. Now he's wandering the city with his Lil Helpers, desperately trying to find his way home. But Rem isn't an ordinary creature. He can see people's dreams, knows secrets he shouldn't know, and has a strange connection to Haze, an OSIC agent who specializes in entering dreams. And then there's Solomon, whose dialogue raises an even bigger question. Was Rem actually dreamed into existence? In this episode of Patron Saint, we explore Rem's origins, his relationship with Haze, the mysterious world of dreams, and the clues that might explain how he ended up in our world. We'll also investigate Grey Talon's knowledge of dream creatures, Seven's warning about the OSIC, Rem's Lil Helpers, and the heartbreaking reason he's participating in the Patrons' ritual. As always, we'll separate confirmed Deadlock lore from community theories and speculation. 🎙️ ABOUT PATRON SAINT I'm Steven, and this is Patron Saint, a podcast dedicated to exploring the characters, mysteries, and hidden stories of Valve's Deadlock.
