City of Veridia: What Are You Afraid Of?

The morning after Jhoana's failed assassination attempt, Veridia is restless. Something is continuing to spread from beneath the Hoard & Horn. Sleepless nights, shared nightmares, strange panic in the streets, and whispers of something breathing beneath the city. Before the Cadaver Crew can attempt the dangerous repair of the Wyrmwell Engine, they need to understand exactly what has gone wrong and why the fear surrounding it appears to be getting worse. Tonight, the crew follow the bleed through Veridia’s streets, steam vents and forgotten tunnels, uncovering another piece of the machinery that has kept the city obedient for generations. Because the Wyrmwell was built to make people believe. And something beneath Veridia has learned that fear is very good at doing exactly that.
