Milwaukee VA commemorates 25th anniversary of 9/11 with Wood National Cemetery observance

Gold Star Families, Veterans, VA staff, and community members gathered September 11, 2026 to mark the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and pay tribute to all post-9/11 Veterans. VA leadership representing the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Veterans Benefits Administration Milwaukee Regional Office, Wood National Cemetery and the Wisconsin National Guard participated in the observance and conducted a wreath-laying ceremony to honor the seven service members killed in action in post-9/11 conflicts who are buried at Wood National Cemetery.
