Sarasamukhi Sakala Bhagyade honors Goddess Chamundeshwari, also known as Kali, Ammavaru, Durga Devi, Mahishasuramardini, and in many other divine forms. She represents Shakti — the supreme feminine energy that creates, protects, and sustains the universe. The song praises the Goddess as the lotus-faced deity who bestows fortune and protection upon her devotees. The choreography unfolds in two dramatic episodes: first, the Goddess’s grace protects a devotee from death itself; and second, her fierce form destroys the demons Chanda and Munda, from which she derives the name Chamundeshwari.
