He is a social worker and I am a department coordinator. -We have two kids, ages 10 & 7. -Our total debt as of August 31, 2026 (including our mortgage): $413,804.51 -The current focused financial goal: Save $5,025 for our Emergency Fund – Here is our plan to save money and get out of debt (Plan restarted on 5/16/2025) - Step One: Save $5,025 in an Emergency Fund. Step Two: Pay off Debt!!
