Come on in, friend — this is where the crafting magic happens! Today I'm finally giving you a full tour of my craft room — the space I lovingly transformed into a cozy, organized haven for creating, filming, and dreaming up all the ideas I share with you here on Mimi Homestyle.
This used to be a bedroom in our home, but now it's my happy place. From IKEA finds and pastel-colored fabric drawers to a custom pegboard wall filled with my most-used tools, I’ll walk you through every inch, with ideas that work for small spaces, whether you’re crafting in a closet, corner, or converted bedroom like mine.
You’ll see:
• Smart craft room storage using garage drawers, Amazon bins, and Dollar Tree finds
• My waist-height butcher block table for wrapping, cutting, and creating
• How I organize seasonal supplies and stickers in pastel fabric drawers
• My favorite labels made in Canva for bins and tags
• A pegboard wall that holds everything from tape to travel photos
• Tips for small-space planning, cozy touches, and hiding the clutter
• A sweet little tour of my bookcases filled with personal memories and practical storage
This space reflects who I am and the stage of life I’m in — a little creative, a little cozy, and always ready to make something special for friends, family, or my Etsy shop.
Music in this video is from Epidemic Sound — they’re my go-to for soft, friendly background music that sets the tone without overwhelming my voice.
