Footprints: The Mysterious Circles in South Africa | Full Documentary

Perfect circles — stretching across the landscape, visible even from space. In this episode of *Footprints*, we travel to South Africa to uncover the mystery behind thousands of perfectly round green fields carved into an otherwise dry and unforgiving environment. At first glance, these circles look almost unnatural. But behind their precise shapes lies an ingenious system that allows people to grow food where it should barely be possible. In one of the driest regions on Earth, massive rotating irrigation systems transform barren land into fertile farmland — creating the iconic circular patterns seen from above. But how exactly do these systems work? Why are the fields perfectly round? And what does it take to survive and farm in such extreme conditions? From stunning aerial footage to life on the ground, this documentary reveals the fascinating truth behind one of the most remarkable agricultural landscapes in the world. Footprints explores the marks humans leave on our planet — and how we reshape entire environments to survive. 🌍 New documentaries every week on DocBustersTV #documentary #southafrica #circles #agriculture #farming #irrigation #earthfromspace #engineering #technology #megaproject #explained #fulldocumentary #docbusterstv
