Oliver Perez gets off to a shaky start, surrendering a first inning, 3-run homer to Prince Fielder but battles through 6 innings giving up only 2 more runs while striking out 11. The bats are out in force for the Mets as they hit three homeruns (Castro, Anderson, Green) including a 4 RBI performance from Marlon Anderson.
