Is this the future of VTubing, or the beginning of another massive controversy?* Today on Ninja Wise Guy, I'm reacting to More Kazahana's coverage of Leaflet's AI VTuber tool, which aims to make creating and rigging Live2D models faster, cheaper, and more accessible. As a VTuber who has spent hundreds and even thousands of dollars on models and commissions, this technology genuinely interests me. Could I finally turn my old PNG avatar into a fully rigged VTuber model using AI? We discuss AI-generated VTuber models, Live2D rigging, the cost of commissions, copyright and commercial rights, and why so many artists and VTubers are pushing back against artificial intelligence. I also share my personal experiences commissioning VTuber artists, using AI to create character concepts and music, and why I believe AI could help more people bring their creative ideas to life. *But here's the big question: Is AI making VTubing more accessible, or is it hurting the artists and riggers who helped build the community?* *Drop your opinion in the comments!* Would you use an AI-generated VTuber model, or would you rather pay an artist to create one?
