My slow Sunday in Rome: Porta Portese haul & "Dream Shoes" exhibition | day 5 🇮🇹

In the fifth chapter of my Rome Diaries, I take you along for a slow and soulful Sunday. We start our morning early at the Porta Portese flea market, wandering through endless stalls of vintage treasures, second-hand clothes, and antique books. After a successful haul, I head back home to cook a simple pasta lunch before meeting a friend for a walk. We visit the beautiful Museo Boncompagni Ludovisi to see the "Vanessa Noel – Dream Shoes" exhibition, a collaboration with the Noel Shoe Museum from NYC. Our afternoon continues with a stroll through the lush Villa Borghese and a quick tramezzino break. We end the day back on my terrace, watching the sun set over St. Peter’s Basilica while I take a moment to reflect in my journal.
