Never put lipstick on bare lips after 60. Try this Korean way to prepare your lips first, so your color stops bleeding into fine lines, flaking by lunchtime, and ending up on your coffee cup. I'm Soojin, a makeup artist and esthetician from Seoul, with more than thirty years of doing makeup on brides, presenters and their mothers.
In this video, I share why lipstick behaves differently on lips over sixty, six common mistakes that make it travel and flake, the Korean way step by step starting the night before, where it helps most, one weekly extra trick, and how to choose an affordable lip mask, liner and lipstick texture.
Most importantly, start with one step, and patch test anything new for seven to ten days. Those little lines above the lip happen to almost everyone, and nothing went wrong.
