Here’s a short clip where I share how my mother, Avis Pendavis, lifted me up during one of the lowest points of my youth - a moment far too many young trans people face: being thrown out of their homes simply for being who they are. I loved her deeply, and this entire project is dedicated to her memory and everything she gave us.
