Let’s get started!" 🧾 Materials Required: Battery Eliminator (6V or 9V output) – Power supply Copper Wire – For connections and making the electromagnet coil Iron Nail or Bolt – To act as the core of the electromagnet Thin Metal Strip – Acts as a switch (tripping strip) Spring or Rubber Band – To pull the metal strip back after tripping Bulb (small 6V or 9V) – To show the circuit is working Switch – To turn the circuit on/off Wire Connectors / Alligator Clips – For safe and easy connections Cardboard or Wooden Base – To mount all components Glue Gun or Tape – To fix components on the base Screw or Nail (Fixed Contact Point) – For the strip to touch and complete the circuit Marker & Labels – To label the parts neatly Tripping Mechanism: When the current increases (simulated by keeping the circuit on longer), the electromagnet becomes stronger.
