Phantasy Star III REMIX: The Dark Force

Back at it again in an attempt to shake the rust off! This time, we're revisiting Phantasy Star III. Originally released in 1990, the PS series had a good foothold in the community of RPG players. Along with the likes of Final Fantasy, it gave players multiple hours of exploration, grinding, and entertainment as only a JRPG can provide. This piece plays during the battle with Dark Force, obviously the strongest mimic in the universe (that wasn't a healing item! What the heck?!). My goal here wasn't to overdo it with original sections. I wanted to remain faithful to the piece and see what I could do to 'fill it in' a bit, so to speak. It was fun to play around with, and I hope that translates into you guys at least enjoying it a bit. Who knows?! All I know is that my wife likes the original better. Thanks for stopping by and giving this a listen! Like it or not, you gave it the time of day, and for that I'm happy. Track: The Dark Force* (Apparently it was supposed to be The Dark FARCE in Japanese, but there was a translation misstep coming to America) Original Artist: Izuho Numata Reimagined by: Steve Anderson
