I’m Still Here

“I’m Still Here” is a deeply personal song about looking back over the first 19 years of my life. My story began with challenges before I was even old enough to remember them. As I grew, there were difficult experiences, questions, changes, falls, and moments when I wished life could simply be easier. There were also experiences that helped change the way I saw my life, my faith, and what might still lie ahead. This song isn’t about pretending that everything in my past became a victory. The scars don’t simply disappear, and the things I’ve experienced have helped shape who I am. My life hasn’t been a perfect story or a straightforward line. I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still taking the next step, even when I don’t know exactly where it leads. Nineteen years have brought me to today. And after everything that came before it, I can still say: I’m still here.
