The Miracle Caught on Camera at Padre Pio's Last Mass In the footage of his final Mass, at dawn on September 22, 1968, Padre Pio's hands reveal something many had sworn was impossible for fifty years. The stigmata that had bled every day since 1918 were closing: on the backs of his hands, the marks were gone. And a few hours later, at his death, the skin was smooth — without a single scar.
